Fred Greene III

President/CEO

Mr. Greene is a native Washingtonian with almost 20 years of commercial real estate development and investment experience. As a Principal with FLGA, since 2014, Fred Greene has successfully secured and currently oversees the development of over 2 Million square feet within FLGA’s portfolio, including the 500,000 square foot Howard East Towers Redevelopment in partnership with Lowe Enterprises and USAA Real Estate in addition to the 1.5M square foot Howard East Campus Masterplan Redevelopment.

Prior to FLGA, Mr. Greene served as a development management professional for the JBG Companies (Now JBG Smith), a large diversified real estate development and investment firm, and was involved in the development of over 2.5 million square feet of development in the Washington, DC area, including serving as a development manager of such projects as North Bethesda Market – a 1.2 Million square foot Class-A mixed-use development in North Bethesda Maryland which included over 1100 below grade parking spaces, 200,000 square feet of retail and approximately 400 apartment units.

Philanthropically, Fred was the Co- Founder and author of the founding curriculum of Project Destined, a 501C3 national non-profit focused on teaching real estate development to urban youth and lowering the barrier to entry to the industry. He currently serves on of Board of Directors for Cinnaire - one of the nation’s leading mission driven community development financial institutions (CDFI) focused on community transformation through creative capital investments and development solutions..

Mr. Greene holds his B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
